Kevin Mark Adams, 60 of La Luz, New Mexico, and formerly of Alaska and Temperance, MI, died Monday, July 11, 2016.  Born June 8, 1956 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Donald R. and Mary Lou (Erard) Adams. A 1975 graduate of Bedford High School, he married Theresa L. (Whitmill) Oberloier on November 6, 1982 on the original 1834 Adams’ Property.  Kevin was employed by NMS as a manager for the water treatment plant in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska for the past 18 years.  Prior, he was the jack of all trades at Long Rifle Lodge in Sutton, Alaska.  Before moving to Alaska, Kevin was employed by Toledo Caisson as a pile driver.  He enjoyed wood carving, making various items, including, cigar box guitars, long bows, and black powder rifles. Kevin was a heartfelt Christian and involved in the church’s where he lived.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Theresa L; children, Christopher R. Adams and Cherie L. Oberloier; Parents, Donald R. and Mary Lou Adams; sisters, Denise Adams and Dawn (Scott) Waganfeald; brothers, James (Annie), Craig (Laurie), John (Kim), Douglas Adams and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.  Reverend Pat England, pastor of Lambertville United Methodist Church, officiating.
